There are mainly two reasons why my blog has remained dormant:
1. I am too lazy to blog.
2. None of the issues that interest the world, interest me. And the only issue that interests me and about which I have some knowledge, would certainly not be of much interest to you i.e. "the person writing the blog".
; )

What got me writing today ,are these lines by the Beatels. They are truly hilarious.

Every year, the last two days of February, I m deprived of a basic necessity i.e. tee-vee. My parents would snatch the remote and shoo us away to watch a bunch of morons banging their fists on tables, rejoicing for some stupid reasons. (if you are really slow on uptake ,then I was talking about the budget). The budget never interested me, doesn’t interest me now either, n wont interest me till I m forced to share the tax burden n my hard –earned (read: negotiated) monthly allowance is taxed.

When I was kid I came up with two questions, which till date I think were pretty intelligent : ) .Of course you may not share my views (like my parents don’t n tell me they are pretty dumb questions and now that I m studying economics, I should be ashamed of asking such silly questions) bah!!
1. Why does the government snatch our money? Why doesn’t it ever think of doing some work itself and earning its own money???
2. Why does the govt. tax the people who earn and work instead of the people who do not do any work?? It’s like the people who work and contribute to the country are being penalized n those who don’t and are being lazy are being given unemployment insurance. What crap is this???

If you have any answers ,which you think can satisfy me .I WANT THEM.

And if, just like most people, you want to tell me that they are dumb questions.Dont bother.i will never agree..:-D

SHOP-A-HOLIC

Yeah, the title describes me well enough. I am over –obsessed with shopping. All I need for that divine happiness is a fortnightly dose of shopping. I know by now you must have already started sympathizing with my “poor parents” (hey now don’t look at me accusingly…I have barely contributed to their poverty). Happiness is priceless so a new pair of jeans or a couple of new sweatshirts now and then isn’t a heavy price to pay for it, right???? [Stop nodding your head, I know I always am ; ) ]

There is something which really pisses me off while I am pursuing this passion of mine....the creatures who call themselves salesmen . I just don’t seem to understand whether they have been instructed by bigger creatures to bug customers or their soul derives some sort of pleasure unknown to me by doing so.
This is something similar to what I have faced a number of times...

While I was quietly looking at the stuff displayed, this bug who looked like a rotten potato comes and asks the only sentence he had mugged up…
potato: May I help you?
Me: what will u help me with?????? All the stuff is displayed and I can choose whatever I want myself. And I certainly don’t need your expert advice on how to wear it....i wish I could say that but decided to put the same words in a more polite manner...diplomacy..u can say.. NO, thank u..i will help myself.

Even after this ,the potato decides to linger and stares as if I am a shoplifter and will steal a tee ,stuff it in my socks and run away....After a while he comes up with this wacky tee which has all sorts of weird things from coins n stones to shells n bits of paper strewn on it....n says: this is the latest fashion. Everyone is buying it and this is the last piece ..you must try this..

Me: oooh unfortunately I am not really updated with this fashion of wearing garbage so I would rather look at the conventional old plain -Jane stuff if you would only get lost from here and let me....well again that is what I wanted to say ,but decided to keep my gob zipped up..and gave him this lovely look which clearly said “ if u don’t get lost this instant you will be hanging from the roof upside down with your butts being used as a punching bag”

Fortunately he interpreted it correctly....n decided to bug someone who looked less passionate about punching people’s butts!!!!!

Before i begin with a new entry, here is an amendment to my previous one
#since i have realised that it is impossible to keep up the 7th resolution, i change it to...

7. to device better n innovative methods of troubling the pest

Okay firstly all you people who truly respect and love our rashtrabhasha " hindi".n also respect the fact that we have the pleasure to study this lovely language in our 1st year...kindly stay away from my blog...!!!! and if you still wish to read it ..then please dont try to lecture me on nationalism, patriotism etc etc isms......

Exams have finally ended( i know i am not sounding really cheerful about that , coz the results are there to keep me anxious) but they left me wondering about the need to study this weird thing hindi......we are supposedly doing economics honours not any vella course ...it isnt that i am against the language or something but why do we have to study it during our graduation ..i mean who is dying to converse in hindi ..even the people who have the bestest of hindi n the wackiest of english try to converse in english ......but lucky these days ...saying "hows u ???" appears to be more of a style statement rather than a clear example of bad grammar...

my anguish is with the course...will copy down a small part of the thing to make it clear......its hilarious!!!

new year resolutions

I m one of the laziest creature alive on this planet.Keeping my resolutions is only a secondary task,the primary is to come up with them.N 'cos everyone keeps asking bout resolutions....hence after days of thinking , i have finally managed to come up with a 'FEW'...here they go...............

1. to give my lethargy a break n complete the zillion pending n neglected tasks.(eg. refer to 3,4,5)

2. to crib less,criticize less, worry less

3. to clean my cupboard before termites take the initiative to do so (my study table too needs some cleaning but books can wait n i m sure even termites wont attack books)

4.to learn to cook what i like so that i can be spared from eating those weird veggies which look like grass n taste like dung(the gourd family)

5. to learn driving n get my license made which i havent done till now cos i dont love to get up early to see the rising sun

6. TO KEEP MY EYES N MY BRAIN OPEN ON THE ROADS TO PERK UP MY BRILLIANT DIRECTION SENSE n try to mug up the road map of north campus so that i know something more than just the way from college to metro station n back.

7.to increase my limit of tolertaing people ( especially during the hols when when i have to put up with this pest ,genetically related to me as my brother)

8. to giveup the habit of writing in sms lingo by omitting vowels before i forget all the spellings

9. to keep atleast 3 of these resolutions........
